I did arrive at Renee's safely but I will have to say that nights drive was terrifying. These photos are from the following day leaving Kansas on my way to Denver, Colorado. I was fascinated by the trees in Kanas, there wasn't much to see but the trees were wonderful. I pulled off the road when I saw this cemetery and had to get a few photos. Up next....Colorado.

Kansas...I'll never forget you.
Driving through Kansas at night was by far one of the most terrifying experiences of my life. I drove through Kansas City around 9pm and still had at least 3 hours before I would arrive at my friend Renee's house in Scandia, KS. I ended up oh hwy 24 this is where my drive started to freak me out. This was by far the darkest, most desolate, road I'd ever driven on. Being from the city, I'm used to being around a lot of people and cars so being in the middle of nowhere Kansas, in the middle of the night, by myself with random cars along the road with their hazards on started to scare me. I made a couple phone calls, before my phone battery died and asked for prayers of peace, that's how bad it was.
