Portfolio, just around the corner...

I have been shooting/ editing for my final portfolio for RCC lately. I've been crunched for time having interned all summer and coming back to NC to finish up with school. I've been in Currituck and did a shoot yesterday with some of my great friends. It was a bit out of my comfort zone, I've been trying to challenge myself in the way I've been 'seeing' and shoot a little differently. My good friend Torii Rodgers helped me with hair/make up/and she was a fantastic assistant during the shoot! Thanks so much to Torii, Keely, Victoria and Laurel for such a great shoot! Behind the scenes in Nelson, NV

I was fortunate enough to work on a shoot in Nelson, NV yesterday for country singer Luke Bryan. I worked as production assistant and also an assistant to the grips. The day started early, and lasted late but it was a great day. It was a wonderful experience to meet everyone and see what goes into a real commercial shoot. Luke was an absolute riot and pure southern boy! I hope to get many more opportunities like this to go out and work with other photographers and get some real experience assisting.
