'I like to help people.'

I spent the afternoon with Charles Reeder an embalmer and funeral director here in Asheboro. Our assignment was to document the day in the life of someone. I wanted to follow someone who's profession is a little mysterious and that I could learn something about. Charles was so wonderful to spend time with. He has so much respect for people and as he said, 'I like to help people, I like to be there for a family during one of the most difficult times in their lives.' I have a new look on something that I was a little curious about because I knew nothing about it. I see this profession in a new light and also see the people who do this job differently. They have so much respect and compassion. Thank you Charles for allowing me this opportunity. Check back soon for the whole documentary.
